An outstanding undergrad in the Klevit lab, Jasleen Kaur, has received the Levinson Emerging Scholars Award. This award recognizes the advanced level of undergraduate research that Jasleen has done with small heat shock protein HSPB5. PhD candidate Mia Cervantes attended the FASEB Protein Aggregation Conference in Malahide, Ireland during Summer 2023. She presented a poster on her work with small heat shock protein involvement in tau aggregation and received the Next Gen Poster Award. Congrats on all your hard work, Mia!
